OXYGEN CHANGED THE WORLD

In the early days of life

An organism showed direction and purpose

Then later there was the development of a backbone

Then the Oxygen came and the ice melted and the weather changed

The nutrients of life were stirred and life created more oxygen

OXYGEN CHANGED THE WORLD

Collagen cells began to cluster together

New shapes and tissues were created

Complex life became more complex

Corals and fishes emerged in the warm shallows

The Trilobites were born

some began to grow protective armor

A Predator and prey system developed

Then the continents shifted and the jaw bone was developed

Mountains were pushed up

Seas became rivers

New lands challenged life

Lakes and rivers were formed at the foothills of giant mountain ranges

Trees spread wide branches and sheltered the soil and life

Trees changed the landscape

Providing food and shelter for all life

The Rain Forest was born

Fresh water worked it’s magic

Oxygen was everywhere clouds of water formed and Rained

The lung fish was born in water and lives in us on land

We crawled out of the water into the atmosphere

Dragging our bellies in the mud and in the sand

And a new government began to emerge

With grand idea of a change where life would be better

because the government was willing to spend lots of money

Memories

Where is the banana pudding of my youth

The tingling Cinnamon smell

of bare foot dreams

The hot apple pie melting the cold ice cream

Prisoner Of Time

Prisoner Of Time

The walls fall slowly in
One brick at a time
Only empty dust is left
A lonely prisoner divine
